I've added an "All Threads" link to the forum index to help forum navigation.

You'll also notice that you can subscribe/unsubscribe to threads. That doesn't actually do anything yet, but soon you'll receive notifications for new posts in threads you've subscribed to.

Small update:

Very basic notifications. Currently you should receive a notification for new replies to any forum or message thread you are subscribed to. By default, you are subscribed to any thread you start, and any message thread you are added to.

Links to a game from the Games page should now take you directly to the last page of the current Day. Selecting that Day (or in fact any thread) from the navbar should send you to the last page of that day.

Clicking a button makes it disappear so you can't double-click it.

I have tried shraeye's suggestion of moving the Subscribe/Unsubscribe button. I'm not convinced though. Any more suggestions?

Oh and you can now see the list of spectators (if any) in a game's home page.

Changed the Games page - for each game you now have a link to the Home page and the start and end of the current Day's thread.

You can now reply to Day threads from other threads in games. It's a little tricky - go to the reply page for the thread you want to post in , then add eg D1.1/ at the end of the url so it looks the same as if you were replying to a post in the same thread. Hit enter and that post should appear above your text box.

You can do this in any any game thread you can post in, but only replying to posts in Day threads.

At some point I'll make it easier and provide a couple more options.

Votes and unvotes should now show up in "show posts by", although not if they were made before this update.

Unvote posts now show who was being voted for and a votecount.

As a result of concerns by the Mafia players in Less Pressure #1, scum thread titles are now the colour of the scum team (ie red for Mafia), and in-game post buttons now show "Post in x Thread" instead of just "Post".

Threads should load quicker now. For example, previously I gave up trying to load all 10 pages of Less Pressure #1 Day 1, but now it takes me 10ish seconds.

You can now change your page size (ie number of posts per page) from your profile edit page. You can choose 25, 40 or 50. Let me know if there are any other sensible options.

For games in which you're not involved, you should now see a "Request to Spectate" button on the home page. It will notify the moderator, requesting approval. If there's no moderator, it's automatically approved.

Fixed up Custom Game signups, so should be working okay with notifications etc.

I also changed all signups to last for 48 hours, as I got sick of being notified every 12 hours when I was signed up for Less Pressure.

I put through a pretty big back-end update. You won't notice many changes but it should make further progress for custom games a lot easier.

I had to delete basically everything in every setup, so you'll have to start again for your custom setups. Also, some leaderboard stats were lost.

Things seem fine for now, but I wouldn't be surprised if we get some errors and/or unexpected behaviour for the next little while. I'll keep testing and making sure everything's okay.

You can now add Powers to Roles. For example, you could have a Mafia Godfather (1-Shot Cop, 1-Shot Strongman). A role can have up to 4 powers (although I think that will typically only happen with Jacks of All Trades).

I've changed how the player list is displayed on a game's home page. Most notably you can now see each player's post count (only counting posts in Day threads of course).

Jim, I love the new Games page design!

One thing I'd do is remove the games in signup mode from the "Ongoing Games" list, now that there are new fancy lists for signups.

Thanks!

I'm considering having separate pages for signups and ongoing games. I agree that games that haven't started yet shouldn't be in ongoing games.

You'll notice some aesthetic changes. I updated something (Bootstrap) which changed some things. The text is generally bigger, which is probably good, and the buttons have changed. I didn't really like the new buttons at first but they kind of grew on me.

I've been improving the setup pages. Example. I'm still working on that and will be going through each page of the site making similar changes.

Also, you'll now notice progress bars in games, displaying how long to go in the current Day or Night. I thought it would be kind of wacky, but I think it works.

Let me know what you think!

JIM THOSE PROGRESS BARS ARE STRAIGHT FIRE!!! FIYYYAAAAA!!!!

Also, I don't like the new Gray buttons/text.  On a daylight background on my computer it's not a great contrast from the white screen.  It looks good if I dim my display…so maybe darken it just a bit?
