Ah, yeah, I wasn't very precise. Basically I want to see all votes while rereading someone.
Done.

You can now see the text that you're replying to.

It's not super flexible - you see exactly the contents of that post, excluding whatever they were replying to. You can't edit it or do multiple quotes in one post at this stage.
If you reply to the post immediately before yours, the text of that post doesn't show up, since it's right there, unless your post is the first post on the page (using the page size of whoever is viewing the thread).

Mild issue: If you are ISOing someone, and they are replying to a post directly before theirs, then you won't see the post they are replying to anywhere.

Could that be made an option. I don't want it.

You mean, if they respond without replying to the post directly above theirs then it doesn't show up?

I'm not sure how that would be detected or fixed. What change did you make Jim?

Are you asking what the logic is that checks whether to show the text? It's like, if at least one of these conditions is true, show the text. One of the conditions is if a filter is applied and the author of the post being replied to is different than that user whose posts are being shown.

I think in the not-too-distant future I'll work on a more flexible filter system.

It's just, it surprised me that you fixed the problem I thought Faust was talking about. So I'm trying to see what both of you meant

So I'm replying to this post, and it's the post just before mine, so there's no point in showing your text again (unless my post appears on the top of the page). But if you filtered the thread to only show my posts, you'll then want to see the text I'm replying to.

I've done the first draft for the Site Rules page: https://beta.lynchpool.com/info/rules/

I took a fair bit of inspiration from the relevant pages on f.ds, but it's just the rules that you could actually break if you wanted to, so nothing like "You can't post in a locked thread".

I'm not sure if I got the balance right between "These are actual rules and we'll take it seriously if you break them" and "This is a fun and friendly place to be".

I've probably missed some things, and other things like how replacing players works will become more specific after it's implemented.

Let me know what you think.

It might be cool to have the "refresh" button for timeouts show up next to the "clear" button in notifications.

Hmm maybe. My concern would be the possibility of clicking Renew by mistake and not realising it. I think having to take the extra step of going to the setup page increases the transparency of what you're doing.

Apologies for my lack of engagement lately. I know there have been a few issues that have been brought up which I haven't responded to. I'll make sure to get to them all in the next couple of days.

In the meantime, we're only 2 players shy of starting another Less Pressure. My brother (Wings) is keen to try it out and is considering working on the site with me. It'd be great if we could get a game going soon.

Prods should now be issued automatically.

Here's how it currently works: At the start of each Day or when you post, your prod timer is set to 24 hours, rounded up to the next x:15. If that time is reached, you receive a prod and your prod timer is set to 12 hours (posting or the start of a new Day sets it back to 24 hours). If you receive a second prod, either due to not posting within 12 hours of the first, or by going another 24 hours without posting later in the game, the moderator is now able to replace you. This is not implemented yet, but that's the idea.

When you are prodded, you receive a message in your Personal Thread (and therefore a notification), and a message is also posted in the Day Thread. Email notifications are not yet implemented.

Could you make it so that that page for a game setup has links to all previous games with that setup?

I like the "Hint" thing, but the "Got it" option isn't working.  Looks like I'm being sent to an address with too many ////
